The small town daughter of retail merchants, JoLynn Johnston graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and participated in a yearlong internship with Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom College Program in Orlando, Fla. JoLynn met her husband Jeff Johnston while they were students at the University of Lousiville.

 

While working in the racing industry as a marketing and promotions manager, JoLynn discovered her love for television production as an on-camera spokesperson and racing analyst for the track. In 2005, she left the racing industry to pursue an on-camera career full-time. She has appeared in a myriad of television commercials and corporate videos as well as a stint as traffic reporter for Metro Networks on WLWT, Cincinnati’s NBC affiliate, and has made regular appearances as a guest host on Home Shopping Network.

 

JoLynn loves the outdoors; she enjoys camping, hiking, alpine skiing, tennis and horseback riding - any excuse to be outside. She has a passion for reading and gardening, and her love for animals has led her become a foster parent for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals International.

 

The Johnstons have been married for 14 years and have two children, a girl and a boy. They enjoy cooking and traveling together as a family as well as just hanging out at home.
