Teacher's Events
2010 Grow and Know Series
Presented by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation
Join the experts for a series of workshops and seminars throughout Ohio for property owners, animal lovers, gardeners and food enthusiasts. Get back to basics with your land and food, and make the most of your property, whether it's a patio downtown or 50 acres in rural Ohio. The Grow & Know series will offer something for everyone.
Living the farm / rural life means there is much to learn, from figuring out how to grow a garden to learning the best techniques in food preservation. If you're interested in learning about these topics and more, join us at a Grow and Know event this year and get in touch with your inner farmer!
The cost to participate in the regional Grow and Know events is $30 for Farm Bureau members and $50 for nonmembers. In addition to the program, registration includes lunch and materials. The November “Know Place like Home for the Holidays ”session will cost $50 for members and $75 for nonmembers. Here, attendees will prepare a holiday meal, sample Ohio wines, and meet an Ohio Christmas Tree farmer and Ohio wine maker.
Event registration is available online. Click on each event for the registration link. Registration is also available by calling Rebecca Everman at 614-246-8241. If you would like to be notified of future Grow & Know events and updates, please sign-up. Our Ohio will add you to our Grow and Know e-mail list.
