1 package (12 ounces) Bob Evans Sausage Patties OR Original Sausage Links
12 slices peasant, honey wheat or multigrain bread, crusts removed, lightly toasted
1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
6 eggs
1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
3 cups milk
Cook sausage according to package directions; drain on paper towels. Cut sausage into bite-size pieces; set aside. Place 6 of the bread slices in bottom of greased 13-inch x 9-inch baking pan. Top with layers of half each of the sausage, broccoli, onion and cheese. Repeat layers of sausage, broccoli and onion. Beat eggs and seasonings in medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Gradually add milk, beating well after each addition. Pour over ingredients in baking pan; cover. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes. Top with remaining 1 cup shredded cheese; bake an additional 15 minutes or until center is set and cheese is melted. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
