An Interactive Program for 4th-6th Grade Economics Education The Lessons in Economics kit includes a teacher’s guide of activities, ”Growin’ With Ohio” a 5-minute video, “Farm Facts,” a booklet of colorful charts and graphs, a CD-ROM of the activities for teachers and 33 student worksheet masters. Relevant Ohio Standards for Social Studies and Math are identified in each of the four chapters of the teacher’s guide. The activities focus on economics concepts of: Scarcity and Resource Allocation Production, Distribution and Consumption Markets Government and Economics The short, 5-minute video gives an up-to-date look at the agricultural industry in Ohio. Many charts and graphs are included throughout the teacher’s booklet. “A Real Ohio Story,” in each section of the teacher’s booklet, highlights Ohio farm families and their businesses. The CD includes all the information in the teacher’s booklet and the student worksheet masters. Price per kit is $40 plus shipping.
