A feature to the Our Ohio Web site is gardening questions and answers featuring Barbara Arnold, horticultural designer with Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus.

Arnold is responsible for the strategic garden designs for both interior plant collections and the gardens located outdoors at Franklin Park Conservatory. She is horticultural spokesperson for the Conservatory, received her Associate’s Degree of Applied Sciences in landscape contracting and construction from The Agricultural Technical Institute of Ohio State University and has earned design and garden awards from Keep Columbus Beautiful, the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association and The Ohio Landscapers Association. She has 20 years experience working in public horticulture.
