Grow and Know Events
Ohio Farm Bureau members have access to a variety of member benefits, each designed to make life better. Our Ohio is a platform that provides opportunities for OFBF members to experience Ohio agriculture, and Grow and Know helps you do so, up close and personal.
You may have read about or attended an Our Ohio Grow and Know event this past year. Maybe you enjoyed a dinner on the farm, learned to shop at a farmers market, made your own rain barrel during an interactive workshop or experienced a cooking class using local foods. Similar opportunities and more abound in 2014.
Ohio agriculture is diverse and our farmers have many stories to tell. Experience the sights, tastes, sounds and smells of Ohio agriculture as the Grow and Know series takes you to Ohio's orchards, barns, produce fields, wineries and more.

Buying Local Directory
Participant qualifications: In addition to being a member in good standing of Ohio Farm Bureau, the retail business must be operated by the producer of the agricultural and/or horticultural products that are being sold directly to the consumer. Restaurants sourcing local ingredients are also eligible. These businesses may also sell agriculture-related entertainment programming such as hayrides, corn mazes and more. The business may sell products in addition to those he or she produces and the products may be processed or unprocessed. Agricultural businesses that are a collaboration of farmers, such as farmers’ markets and produce auctions, are not required to be Farm Bureau members to be listed on the Directory.
Businesses found in the Directory typically fall into one of these categories: Roadside stand or market, farm market, farmers market, winery, Christmas tree farm, pick-your-own or U-pick, garden center/retail greenhouse, agritourism, restaurants, produce auction or Community Supported Agriculture.

Your Farm Bureau membership number is required to create an account and is located on your membership card. If you have misplaced your membership card, please call 614-246-8241 to retrieve your number and request a replacement card.

'Town Hall Ohio'
Town Hall Ohio is a weekly radio public affairs discussion forum, which features high-profile guests covering a wide range of topics and issues of importance to Ohioans. Subjects include government and politics, jobs and the economy, food and food production, education, science and technology, business challenges and social issues.
Town Hall Ohio is produced by Ohio Farm Bureau Federation; it airs on WTVN Radio Columbus, Ohio and additional stations throughout the state.
